About you and your fitness goal:  As a young person I was quite an active sports person with a competitive & adventurous spirit. This led to a variety of sporting injuries, some quite serious which left me with chronic problems which only seem to become more obvious and uncomfortable with the passing of years. My fitness goals are to keep these old injury demons in control, maintain general fitness, flexibility & strength. How often do you train:  Probably not often enough but one training session a week is backed up by long weekend walks with large active dogs. What benefits/ results have you experienced :  All movement is good for me, particularly now that my work is sedentary. Eddie assists me to maintain rehab regimes that keep me going and reduce pain. What made you choose Eddie as your trainer:  Eddie understands working with older people. I’ve seen many trainers in gyms take an older person & flog them with inappropriate exercises, then guess what – you never see the client back in the gym again. Eddie understands longer recovery times, consideration for past injury and a desire to ‘keep the machine running’. What do you like about working in a fitness studio as opposed to a gym:  For us it’s convenience factor. Eddie’s location & services he offers suit us. What advice would you give to someone looking to get into training:  Work with a trainer, it’s a commitment made ot an appointment so you are more likely to ‘make it to the gym’. Your trainer will also provide variety & motivation which can be hard to achieve when you are working on your own.
